This years event is taking place in Valognes, Normandy, just a few miles from the ferry port of Cherbourg, so access will be very easy. More details about the event can be found here.

A small group of us have already booked our ferries and will cycle from Cherbourg Port to Valognes where we will be camping. We arrive on Friday 23rd July, to give us time to set up camp and find a good pitch.

There are other forms of accommodation available, hotels, gites, a few chalets and homestays.

Registration for the event is now open registration instructions are below. Please note these instructions are based on cycle camping so you will need to modify the accommodation type if you are not cycle camping. If you want to camp (tents, caravans or motorhomes) with the Cycle Bristol CTC group then please register as instructed through our group.

1. Go to the website: https://inscriptions-ffct.org/sf2021/groups-list (found from the Registration link of https://www.valognes-sf2021.com/english/)

2. Scroll down to the group name Cycle Bristol CTC and enter the password you can find in our Newsletter

3. Select Add a registration

4. In the Section Licensed adult - foreign bicycle touring federation select Registration

5. Complete the registration form with the requested detail

6. In the camping section under: Please indicate the identities of the people (including yourself) you wish to stay with on the reserved camping site (surname and first name of each individual) put All members of the Cycle Bristol CTC group

7. Group meal options: members of our group usually book the evening meal for all nights except for the Wednesday night when we organise a group meal in the town.
